Question by JCW: Vegetarian?
I’m 12 and I want to become a vegetarian. My parents don’t want me to because they say I am too young. Do you think it would be unhealthy? I would be very grateful if you could give me some good websites. I’m serious about this so a website where I could print information to show to my parents would be ideal.
Thank You!
Best answer:
Answer by justme It’s not unhealthy, but it will be extra shopping and extra work for your parents. Just google vegetarian, or vegetarian nutrition and do some research.

Question by Renee P: How many people try to cook vegan using recopies written for omnivores?
I notice a lot of questions on here about egg and milk re-placers, but if they had were using vegan recopies there would be no need for these questions.
I’m a vegan since birth so I have never seen an omnivore cookbook.
Best answer:
Answer by Andromache Most people aren’t vegan from birth. They might want to veganise traditionally non-vegan meals. There’s nothing wrong with that.
A lot of vegan recipes do actually call for a non-dairy milk or egg replacer.

Question by Yahoo! Moderator: I am all for animal rights but I cant take PETA seriously, do you?
I am a vegetarian and all for animal rights but I think peta has too many middle aged women who are bored with their lives and go around yelling through megaphones. I would much rather watch or hear something informative that is not being forced down my throat.
Bogie,
The food chain was something that was created by people like the thought of the world being flat which we now know was not right.
Best answer:
Answer by neelyjulie PETA takes things too far, they want people to have no pets in some cases. They don’t fully understand what they are talking about in some cases.

book. They are creative and will not load
you up with much cheese or refined carbs.
Question by grandviewstar: Does PETA really hurt animals to make a point?
More than one person has told me that the horrific videos on the PETA website are actually made by Peta. I don’t really believe this, but have seen people refer to them as “animal killers” on the internet as well. Can anyone clear this up for me?
Best answer:
Answer by KG Of course PETA doesn’t hurt animals! Everyone knows that factory farms and slaughterhouses are horrific, and anyone saying that PETA fabricated the films is lying in order to defend those places. When I grow up, I’m going to be vegetarian.

Why did you become vegetarian?
****And for ppl who are not vegetarian Why not?

Best answer:
Answer by henna :) Me!
I was a vegetarian my whole life, no joke.
And I was one because my parent’s religion involves being a vegetarian, but I want to be a vegetarian because animals are being killed for a stupid reason & that meat is nasty tasting. Also because it’s a healthier diet, rather than eating meat. haha.
