Question by Daniel: What does PETA say we should do about predatory animals like Lions?
My understanding is that humans have eaten meat since the beginning of recorded history. It is also part of nature that Lions eat meat.
Have you ever watched a video of a Lion eating its prey while it is still alive? It is far worse than anything I have heard about in the slaughterhouse.
I understand that PETA wants to end all animal suffering which includes ending humans eating meat. I sincerely want to know what PETA wants to do about the suffering of the prey killed by Lions and other predators.

Answer by Andrea PETA is a human organization trying to end the suffering that humans inflict on other species. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) will likely have no plans regarding your concerns – Perhhaps you should contact the LETA.

Also – I want to mention that the basic premise is that humans are not natural meat eaters so the suffering that animals go through to be eaten (in a very unnatural way) by human beings is unnecessary. A lion on th other hand is an obligatory carnivore and his method of capturing his, until that point, free roaming life loving prey is superior in natural nature (hehe) to our method of storing and slaughtering potentialy healthy happy animals… If you could catch and eat a lioness style meal I for one would commend you on your athetisism.
Not to offend even more people… God does say that the lion will lay with the lamb so no need to worry – the problem is being looked into. Also, the Bible does say we were origionally created to eat “herb” as our “meat” and the concept of eating meat was foreign until Noah’s Ark landed.

Also – Hunter, I wasn’t trying to be mean exactly. My sarcasm was just triggered by this obviously sarcastic question. I did edit my answer to be more kind in case this was truely a heartfelt concern for the welfare of the lion’s slaughter…

Question by jagger: What’s the difference between vegan and a raw vegan?
I’m thinking of going on a diet and just wanna know, will there be much of a difference in my results if i where to choose just vegan instead of raw vegan??
Best answer:
Answer by mockingbird Niether is a “diet” (as in weight-loss plan.) To lose weight, simply burn more calories than you consume.
Vegan means you don’t eat, use, wear, purchase or otherwise consume anything of animal origin. Vegans eat fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices, fungi like mushrooms and yeast, oils, and everything made from them. Vegans cook and bake, like most people do.
Raw vegans also eat only plant foods, but raw. Nothing is heated over (I believe) 118 degrees under the belief that heat destroys beneficial enzymes.

Question by cnviera: Do vegans use all vegan products including make-up and hair care?
I am using a vegan product for my entire family called Arbonne. They are a 100% vegan and their products are totally environmentally safe. I use their skin care, baby products, hair care, vitamins, shave cream, weight loss program and their spa products as well. I am a sales rep for the company now, and would like to market and cater to the vegan community since it is close to my heart. Any feedback?
Just looking for a different perspective on what else may be out there.
